DataPrism Cloud is an encrypted data layer. Your files are chunked, encrypted with a key only you hold, and dispersed across storage providers you configure. The map that ties it all together, the file index, lives on a decentralized network in a namespace called a prism. Nobody can read or silently alter your data, not even us.

What you will do in this guide

1. Create an account, with a Prism Key or just an email.
2. Get tokens, the credits that pay for platform operations.
3. Create your first project.
4. Connect your storage, any S3-compatible bucket works.
5. Invite your team.

What you need

• A modern browser. No extension is required, although an existing account extension works too.
• About five minutes.
• For the current demo environment, nothing else: tokens are test tokens and cost nothing real.
